[TECH] Question about the Euro GTI Oil Flange .. Paul Maione please read I know you have one of these.!

Assembling my parts and I will be using a Euro GTI oil flange so that I may
run an oil cooler, now the question is the following one;
on top of the flage there is a hole for the oil pressure switch no problem
there, now the question is with the front of the oil flange, there is a plug
there, and I was wondering if I could use the oil temp sender in there (it
fits)? it looks like the "plug" in front is not being used for anything but
I just wanted to make sure, and I am using an 8v so if this is not
recommended, then I will have to seek a secondary "hole" to use for the oil
temp.
