First of all you shouldn't be taking apart cable boxes........isnt' that
the only place those are found?
But, IF you happen to have a need for that type of tool, I find it
usefull to try a very small blade flat head screwdriver that will sit in
two of the star angles and torque against the pin.
You can also use a small bit and dremel out the pin.
