thanks! i went for a spin and am definitely enjoying it.

ya know, i may have to reinforce that front cross member now. the torque out
of this thing has got me paranoid.

oh, the FF i decided to throw in (eeny meny miny moe - i got a
shed'o'trannies) was in awesome shape save a questionable 5th gear syncro
(its acting as if there is none... weird). the housing has a newish gasket
at the 5th gear cover, leading me to believe it was rebuilt some time
recently, funny that 5th is doing what its doing, hrm...
