The warm air duct comes from the stovepipe on the exhaust manifold, this =
acs as a preheater so the engine sucks warm air when it's cold, so it =
comes up to temperature faster (less nasty emmissions with warm motor) =
there is usually a "t" fiting with a heat sensitive flap that switches =
over to the cold air side of the "t" which sucks air via the front =
crossmember when the motor has come up to temp. hope that explains for =
you.

Thanks Jason,
I should have place the photo on my linux server and like you said =
created a link.
I'm curious what the function of this Dryer Duct is?
Thanks again,
Eric

I believe you're talking about the "Dryer Duct hose" ? There is a =
plastic (black) piece attached to the front cross member from where the =
air is sucked into the air box. The other end of the "T" goes to the =
stove pipe comming from the exhaust manifold. Most people disconnect =
these things and try to do some sort of ram air thing here.... Do Watcha =
Like.
p.s. Attachments are usually no-no's as for list etiquette, most =
people provide links to web hosted photos....

Subject: Air Intake Hose - Location of other end
I'm trying to locate where the other end of this hose goes. The =
first end goes to a T in the air intake, but I've looked for where the =
other end attaches and I can't see it.
Here's a picture of the T, where the first end attaches.
Thanks,
Eric Singer
