I finally fouund them, 1977 MKI Scirocco pics

My 79 doesn't have a passenger rearview mirror and no holes for one either.
My 77 Rabbit atleast had holes for one.  I guess you'd have to drill the
holes and either rivet it on or tack on some captured nuts.
