Turbo conversion questions...

Thanks Drew, I was thinking about where to put the drain line, hard to tell where the oil level goes to on the pan... wonder if I could just put it at the top of the pan?
Anyway, I suppose the turbo diesel filter flange would bolt right up considering most old VW blocks are nearly identical???
Anyone have ideas on if 8V pistons will work?
