the one-way part of the accumulator is actually located at the fuel pump
discharge, so the only thing you loose by bypassing the accumulator is th=

reserve pressure storage.

functional, and present an inconvenience so minor that they stay that way=

haven't been able to really drive mine since the new one went into it.
