1.8t engine setup pictures

>The 1.8T is an awesome engine and can make gobs of power, but what's the
>big deal when you can make more power even from an 8V turbo than >the
Scirocco can use?

yup, the turbo is fun as fuck, but honestly if I had to do it all over again
I would be very torn between a built as piss (nonTurbo)16v, or this swap.
Figure a nice 200hp 16v is about enough power for a Scirocco, once you hit
where I am, its pointless and just causes more issues between the tranny,
motormounts and axles.

>Since you mentioned gauges, what kind you recommend, that would look >nice
and a good gauges??

All your choice really, Im using AutoMeter gauges for Oil and Coolant Temp,
along with Boost and EGT. I should get an Oil Pressure gauge also.

GReddy, Blitz and Apexi also make good gauges. I just don't like the VDO
ones.:)

>And paying someone to do a 1.8t swap is not recommended... just ask
>Josh how the little stuff adds up! right Josh!

Total on parts including new axles/standalone/etc has been over 11k, and
that's JUST PARTS. Though I have gotten sick of paying out to others for
work, hence Im the one knee deep in puling my head (the one in the car, not
in my shorts) to get at the rings...

> Maybe I should go look at more places?? talk to more people?

The more people you talk to, the more views you will get and odds are you
will just be left right where you are now! :D
