ABA Distributor

I'm using a Audi Distributor with electronic advance. When I did my
swap, looking back, I could have gotten a distributor from a A2
Golf/jetta because I had an adapter kit from TT to make it fit in the
ABA block. I was wondering if anyone had used the A2 8v one for their
knock sensor set-up.
