Question for 8v to 16v people

Since the Golf and Jettas didn't use the funky 16v upper hose that the
Sciroccos did (lack of engine compartment space with A/C) I have used the
hoses off of those 16v cars before with success.  HTH!

I had to take the hose from the top of the radiator to the head from the 8v.
Even with some cutting, I had one helluva time getting it to fit without
kinks. Has anyone found a more effective hose? I do have the 16v radiator
and top hose, but I don't really want to use that...those things are worth
$$  :)
