BMW headlights into Mk.1

     Just wondering if the later BMW 5 series headlights with the "ring of 
fire" parking lights fit in a Mk.1?  These headlights are HID, no?  Not 
seriously contemplating this since the lights would cost more than my car 
but might be worth a few points for a show car.  benton------
