strange electrical problem?

  i got the motor mounts done (thanks for the help guys) but now i have an even stranger problem. after everything was all put back together i climber in a tried to start her up. when i turn the jey all the lights turn on, headlights, interior lights, dash lights, but the car won't turn over. i checked all the conections ti thr coil, starter and anything ignition related i can think off but can't find anything. it all looks right. why do all the lights come on? why won't it turn over? the cars an '84 8v.
