revolutionary head design
Don't give up too easily, Mark. There's still room for brilliance in this world.
I developed a four-stroke, rotary valve (no poppet valves) engine about 20 years ago. It was not successful because it could not address one limitation; how to open and close the valves quickly enough to develop any meaningful power. I don't believe this can ever be overcome.
Notice the size of the development truck engine from Coates? Huge. (maybe because anything smaller would have insufficient torque?)
Notice no performance figures, no numbers, no results other than how many miles the mule had run?
Notice no names of any of the well-known companies that are interested in their technology?
Don't invest your life savings in this company.
Even their world headquarters looks suspiciously like a group of U-Stor-It units.
Keep that mind working.............

Subject: OT: Cool revolutionary head design - no more valves
I gleaned this from the forum about the rear mounted turbo... Blew me away... One of
the many things that frequently keeps me up all night has been trying to figure out a way
to eliminate poppet valves of a conventional head, but I guess this guy beat me to it!
;-) Damn... Oh well, my mind never shuts off, so hopefully I'll eventually think of
something original that'll make me millions... :-)
