what to do for high temps?
It really depends on what you do with your car? If you just daily drive it
with a little spirited driving once in a while the stock system is enough if
it is working properly. I added the low temp t-stat with the low temp fan
switch and I never had a problem unless I ran at high RPMs for a while but
even then I would top out at about 100 deg. celsius. If your melting your
cat, then you probably have a fuel system issue. Maybe O2 sensor, maybe
fuel mixture, maybe something else. HTH!
