our three car n.e. ohio caravan made it back alright last night by about 6pm 
with only one small "problem". as so as we hit the mansfield area yesterday 
we ran into one hell of a rain storm which caused one of our cars to get wet 
and sputter. after about a 1/2 hour layover to dry the car out and get her 
running again we were back on our way with only fogged windows and near 
hydroplaneing to deal with.
  i can't wait for next year! any who could not make it this year make your 
plans now, if you own a scirocco this is the one MUST attend event of the 
year! thanks again to daun for being our host, it keeps getting better and 
better. also a special thanks to ron p., the tranny teardown and tutorial 
was excellent. you're the "yoda" of transmissions. and of course thanks to 
all that attended and made this weekend such great fun. hope to see you all 
again next year!
