Several things to touch base on, being the week before &
all:

First, the signup page.  It has directions & loads of other

Food.  I really am going to have to go grocery shopping
from the sounds of it, but what does everyone want?  I'm
the last person that should be coming up with a menu.  The
TST is bringing the brisket, but if you want ANYTHING else,
I suggest getting a list together ASAP.  Sides, desserts,
vegetarian alternatives...?  C'mon, speak up!

Or grocery shop for yourself.  (Sheya....)

It looks like there will be at least one, probably two 8v
Sciroccos to pillage for parts this year - one Dan Smith's
(providing I can get the time this week to go GET it) and
the other is an '85 I brought home recently.  I will
consider selling my car ('85) outright for a VERY
reasonable price providing you can take it with you when
you leave.  (Install a steering rack and some side mirrors
- all of which I have - and you could probably drive it
home.)  Speak up now / early in the weekend if you're
interested in the whole car.  The body isn't pretty due to
being wedged between two trees over the winter.

Also, I have both an '81 and an '82 Scirocco FOR SALE. 
Neither is drivable at the moment.  I'd actually like to
dive into the '81 to make it run but I've not had more than
5 minutes to look at it since I rescued it a couple weeks
ago.  Anybody wants to turn a wrench on it is more than
welcome.

Anyone want a '72 Chevy truck?  Runs & drives ok, but is a
bit rusty.

DON'T FORGET:
-Sunscreen (providing it will be sunny this year!)
-FRS radio with subchannels, if you've got one.
-Lawn chair.
-...to donate a little $$$ to cover the costs of dinners &
port-o-lets.
-...to have a good time!
