Daily driver does TXDot inspection

Your car would pass CA emissions no problem as far as the sniffer test,
both my cars are required to be under 120 HC ppm at idle and 2500 RPM,
and the CO% is something like 1.0.  Also, California doesn't actually
check NOX content, just that the EGR system (if present) is working.

However, they'll also to do a visual check on all vacuum lines, warmup
and intake ducting, PCV, all that stuff.  They also check ignition base
timing, and the gas cap for air leakage.  They won't even bother with
the sniffer if all this other stuff isn't in order.

Well after purchasing this car 1 year ago after it failed from emission
testing in Garland TX, and since I lived in non inspection (until last
may)
I have been driving it untested... well time has come to test it...
after
setting the mix to proper setting (was at 9mv and I changed it to
11.45mv),
an oil change and air filter change.. the test was performed. Here are
the
results, and it passes with flying color with OEM (never changed
according
to single owner) catalytic converter. I am curious on one thing, the
California standards, what are they on emissions (to see how my car
fairs
against the tough CA laws)
