Nat'l Capital Area VW Club. [was Re: RawNRG]

The DC area must not be "clubby" enough.  About 10 years ago there was a 
National Capital Area VW Club. It was more or less located in Bethesda. 
Before I could attend a meeting to check it out, it seemed to have 
disbanded.  Too bad.  One of the meetings I would have liked to have gone 
to was one presented, as I recall, at a Fairfax area VW and Porsche shop, 
which demonstrated the correct way to dismantle and reassemble VW 
(water-cooled) transmissions.  I guess it its just like TV - if it does not 
offer sex or violence it will never last.
