Consensus needed on 16V amplifier wire...
I don't know about the antennae, but my experience with amplifiers is this.
I always ran a fused wire from the battery to the amp. This wire should be
bigger than the one that supplies your tuner with power. There should be a
labeled wire on the back of the radio that will turn your amp on and off, so
it will not pull juice unless the radio is on. IIRC you can use the power
antennae wire from the back of the radio to trigger the on-off for the amp
