Who's going to Dubwars?

If not making it to this Dubwar to run my slow ass near-stock '79
suddenly puts me over the line from hardcore VW owner to hand holder,
then so be it.  He's gonna be pissed next year when I show up with
nothing short of race car.  

My brother and I just got rid of one of four Volkswagens that very day,
we cut up his old wrecked rabbit and threw it away.

Hey guys, I've talked to Shawn about this and it's much more than poor
attendance at a get-together. 
 He's not pouting, he's not hurt, it's not ego.
 It would be useless to say what it actually IS, because many listers
would have a difficult time understanding.
He has his reasons, they are reasons I agree with, and let's just wish
him well.  Who knows, he may be back one day.
