Tire Inflation: Proper PSI to run?

for normal tires on 14" factory wheels, run 30-35 front, 25-30 rear (vary
according to your preferred handling).
for larger wheels (17) with very low profile (40), you should run closer to
40 psi in order to protect the rim on rough roads, provided the tires max
rating can handle it.
