Cam bearing stud stripped. what to do.

As topic states, I somehow stripped one of my cam bearing studs.  So, are these things replaceable?  I mean, could I find a stud, then tear the old one out using vise grips or something?  If not, how bad of an idea is it to use the nut on it and just torque it approximately.  I imagine it's not a good idea, but not many other options.  Camshafts are easy to install?  Yeah, sure they are.
