[Back-up switch]
Yeah, I've also noticed a vacuum tube that's not connected. Would this be it? I really don't want the exaust air coming in, cold is fine all the way, I just wanted to make sure that the people who rebuilt my engine didn't leave stuff undone.

well as a tube that runs from the exhaust manifold (for heated air). there
is a vacuum line that branches from the intake boot to control the actuator,
switching it over to pre-heated air (from around exhaust area), on cold
mornings.
this is usually missing since it doesnt do a whole lot, and we like cool air
at any cost :)

front bottom corner of the airbox is for air to come in. I had the tube at
one time, not sure if I still do, as I have moved since. Below the battery,
there's two more openings that go into some black plastic thing. While
under the cat the other day doing an oil change, I looked at it and it looks
like this thing is where the tube from the airbox connects, so as to get
cold air from under the radiator. Am I correct?
