I have the Kent cam Gear in my 84. it had the 6 hex head bolts holding
the gear in place. As long as ive had and raced it, never has moved once.
I forget the make thats in the 86 Jetta but it has a single lock bolt.
Its a PITA adjusting it. You have to line it up in the exact setting you
want for the bolt to go in.
Its all the same basically.
