changing exhaust today have questions ;)



Yes - it's possible. And I'm assuming you're talking about an 8v because on
a 16v it's pretty obvious and easy. Removing the manifold is more difficult
that installing a header. Removing the DP in first will give you more space
to move around.

A properly designed header (read: Supersprint  :)  will always flow better
than the DP...

It would be nice if you had spritzed your exhaust studs with liquid wrench
or WD-40 in advance, but you should do it anyway to assist the removal.

Be patient - you're going to have to get on the top 12mm exhaust nuts by
feel because you can't see them when the intake is in.

Oh - and have several extension sizes and a 3/8"-drive
wobble-socket/extension handy.
