brake woes

Master cylinder. I was just talking about it on here with my 16v.
Its easy to replace takes about 2 hours max for a beginner. U need a
11mm line/flare wrench to take the brake lines off the cylinder. u can
get it at sears. the master cylinder is cheap for those cars. u can get
it remanufactured for 20-50 bucks.
P.S. when installing a master cylinder u have to bench bleed the master
cylinder first before installation. plus u have to bleed the system
after u re hook everything up. if its a vacuum problem have some one
start the car and u feel on the vacuum hose that connects to the brake
booster and valve cover for air leaks when pressing on the brakes.
