Exhaust Manifold nuts

Doubt if it would make much difference either way.

  I'm attaching my new manifold to the 9A and I'm not sure if there is 
  supposed to be a washer between the nuts and the manifold... I ordered new 
  studs from the dealer and seals & copper nuts from potter but I don't 
  remember if there are washers... are there?
