coolant line question

i think its on all 16v cars with a heater core (even 2.0).

mechanincs put in an impossible to get at location) joins into a solid steel
line that I guess goes to the heater core (still no Bentley, Canda Post

sucks). ANyway, the easy option was the rubber hose, but of course you know
that's not it, it's pinholes in the corroded steel line instead. SO is this

dealer part? and how much, or could I maybe get it from
Potterman/Adirondack?
And how many millions? Any tips for removal and reinstallation would be
appreciated, it's Canada Day today so I can't do much regardless. I don't
even
know what to call the part,  to tell you the truth. So any advice is
welcome,
I think I'll spring for a new one, but LMK what other cars have a compatible
line setup. This car, it needs way too much attention, I tell you. Again it
chose to spew coolant within a mile of home, thankfully. It always has known
where to die.
