The rice thing doesn't bother me, and yes, body color was my choice- =
dark green. The only option this leaves is powder coating, I'm afraid. I =
am currently looking for rebuild kits, or just parts enough to rebuild =
them.=20
I was also wondering about this 1.6. How much is too much for it? I can =
swap in a later air flow meter and TB from a 1.8. Would that be too much =
for it? Thanks for the help :) Jeff

So...what colors does that leave? Black and silver? What's the =
point?
Go with body color for the calipers...you can't be acused of =
'ricing'.....:)

Please avoid red, orange, yellow, purple, white, etc on VWs brake
components. These colors are best left for Hondas. Do a search on =
google
with: "rice" and "honda". You'll have fun.
Cheers.

High temp engine paint works, but be careful of brake
fluid...will take the paint off. You can get caliper
paint too, and that's probably better. I even saw it
stocked at PepBoys the other day.
