As has been stated, try cleaning the current grounds /
perhaps adding a couple new ones. It helps on these cars
immensely.

Is it carbed or injected? If injected, it's likely your
in-take transfer fuel pump not working. Easy job to
replace, and not horribly expensive compared to the main
pump.
Thanks for the reply, my car is a 1.8 carb. any more surgestions?
