semi OT - Lame bodywork question

Of course bondo will not protect the back side of steel, nothing can. =
Not all body men seal bare steel before applying Bondo. I worked with =
some very talented and respected body men (known and 'bumpers/painters") =
in years past and did not see any of them seal before applying bondo =
(most of them cringed at the thought of bondo and much preferred working =
with lead...these were real craftsmen)
I cannot argue with the 'better safe than sorry' philosophy, however!!!

to moisture. even body shops use a sealer when they do bondo work, =
