this winter wasn't so funny for me :(
so like I was going at my parents 100 miles away had no problem
then on the last turn it was only ice and I wasn't paying attention so
the sh*t happened, I couldn't turn right, hit the street curb and bent
my nice alloy wheel, bent the left wishbone so that the wheel was
with about one inch misplaced to the rear of the car, and landed
on some bushes (between 2 trees) and nothing happened except small
cracks in the front spoiler and a bent oil sump. The front bumper smashed
the bushes and saved me, it's quite solid I guess. Overall the shock was
pretty hard, I was like 30 mph, yet besides the wishbone nothing really
happened with the roc. pretty solid car :)
Replaced the wishbone, everything works ok. Do I need to replace the
oil sump, too ? (it's a '88 manual 16v)
regards,
