16v vacuum question

how many of the hoses on the 16v rubber intake tube are really necessary and where do they all go? i have 2 fittings at the end near the throttle body (one doesnt even have a hose on it). i have an angled "t" fitting that sends one end into the fender well and i havent traced the other. i have the big idle air bypass valve connector. and i have one that goes to the passenger side lower intake manifold. im trying to make an intake to replace the stock one and i would love to get rid of anything that isnt important.
