Now having said that, yep, arresting spectators is pretty sad, but so is =
the
new "anti modification" legislation going through up here, it's so loosel=
y
worded that a cop could nail you for nearly anything that is even vaguely=

related to racing/performance that happens to be attached to your car (if=
 I'm
interpreting it correctly, and I believe this could include siezure of th=
e
materials/vehicle). (my son was joking about opening a "detuning" shop, t=
o
help folks get rid of those nasty illegal performance parts)  Street raci=
ng
isn't tolerable to the voters, so they need the "perception" that somethi=
ng is
being done about it - I'd rather see cheap track days myself. It's misuse=
 on
the street that is the problem, and that's not a new thing anyway. =
