( Drilled Airbox?????????)



It just makes more noise, so you think it goes faster.

I used to do this with my old Chevy V8s. You turn the air filter lid upside
down , and voilà, instant V8 growl when you floor it. Of course back then
you would not loose any HP, as the air intake was inside the engine bay,
right atop of the alternator.

Patrick, how do you figure that you can get more airflow to the intake (by
removing a supposed restriction), yet not make more horsepower at the same
time? Also, how are you making the distinction between a gain in
"responsiveness" and an increase in horsepower? -just curious as to what
you're thinking/ experiencing...
