Cooking oil Deisel

hey all,
my brother has heard of people taking deisel rabbits and trucks and using 
cooking oil in replacement to deisel. It is not a full conversion, you still 
need something to start it running, but we are talking minimum of 75% 
cooking oil. This would be great because you could get a deal w/ a local 
fast food resturant for your fuel to get around. Talk about a fuel cost cut. 
Anybody else heard of this?
What about a deisel rabbit truck in the midwest for sale? He and I both 
would like to maybe give it a try if we can get a good price on the vehicle.
