Is that the same Lancia I saw running up Pikes a few years back?

For being an old outdated car :) I think it did very well placing in the top 
3 IIRC.

I saw one parked on the streets of Paris last summer and took quite a few 
pics. It was an HF and even had the "world champion" badge on the rear.
