TT race downpipe install questions?

So I'm putting a 16V TT Race downpipe on my 16v 1975 Rabbit, I notice it
doesn't utilize a flex joint like the factory 16V scirocco one...so what
are you guys using with your TT race downpipes?
Did you install a chainmail style flex joint after the downpipe?
Or just not install it and put in ultra stiff engine mounts?
Or neither.
This is rocco related because its cheaper and easier for me to take the
stock 16v Scirocco downpipe off my 16V rabbit and put it on my 87 16V
rocco and replace it with a TT race downpipe I picked up cheap (the 87
must be e tested and so the dp and cat have to be kept stock).
The weirdest part is that the stock dp install on my car has an additional
flexpipe after the downpipe.
Oh well.
