I'm driving an an 82' with somewhere over 250k on a 1.7
it's hits 7k quite regularly.......I'm addicted to hight rpm after having a
golf that stopped making power at 5k, lol
quick question as well...I leaned out my fuel/air a bit so I can get better
mileage...I've never really tried tuning the engine myself before, how lean
is too lean and how can I tell? and what are the effects on the engine?
any tips to tuning it? (for power and mileage)
any other tricks to get good gas mileage??
thanx
George
p.s. the reason I decided to tune it on my own........12mpg from a 1.7.....
I was getting 36mpg in my golf, my wallet hurts, lol
