yes I know I still have quite a few links that are bad, I am working on it
and considering getting a land-dialup for uploading files because satellite

Just a quick note to plug Patrick's webpage:

I finally got around to relaying my headlights and used his website as a
guide.  His write up was easy to understand and his schematic spells out the
connections for you.  The only small addition I would make (aimed at the
electronically stupid, aka Me) would be to note you either need a 5-prong,
two output relay or some way to jumper the power between the headlights for
the high beam setting (and city light setting if you're running Euros).  Of
course, had I thought through Patrick's schematic a little better, it would
have been obvious.  But anyway, thanks Patrick!  You've got a lot of great
stuff on your site.
