i'm evil, i know...
i'd say save up for a compressor, which would make both the sander and
impact cheaper (not to mention a 1/2" drive sears impact is rated at 600
ft-lbs, i doubt the electric one will do that).

Damn, it's quiet this morning! :)
Ok - my Mom hooked me up with a gift card from Sears (don't know the total
for sure, but probably around $100).
Now - I'm definitely going to need a random-orbital sander for when I prep
my car for its paint job in the late spring, but I've also been intrigued by
the electric impact wrench. The sander will be all important for a very
short time and would most likely be used more in the future. But the impact
wrench will make life easier on a more-consistent basis. Decisions,
decisions...
Anyone have a take?
