WAY OT: Laid off

Thanks. Glad I found it. Unfortunately I don't have a Roc just yet. My first car was a silver '80, and have had a few GLi's since, but currently VW-less. There aren't many decent cars available up in NH. I work for Verizon, during the day and drive trucks at night. Got called back to Verizon the end of July after being laid off for 7 months. Wish I had never gone back.

  Don't think you have to worry too much with the wireless end of things,
  that's booming. I deal with land lines, and I'm sure MCI is the same. Nobody
  uses home phones anymore, all cell and DSL/cable modems.
