do I need a puller to get steering wheel off A1

I've never used anything but a quick pull! Be careful, I do remember some
listers recounting a steering wheel to the face!

No corrosion, just a tight fit.  A sharp blow with a hammer releases it
without using undue force.

  you must have alots of humidity at night in your area
  for it to have corrosion on the spindle..
