bumper push-in howto?



Does anybody know if the Mk1 brackets are the same as
the Mk2 brackets? I'm wondering if I can use the solid
brackets on my Mk1, since I think they might be a
little lighter than the boat anchors I have. 

Who woulda though I would regret getting rid of my 16v
US bumpers??
