Running problems

I drove my car at lunch time today and it was fine.  3 hours later when
I drove it, it started running very poorly.  
It starts fine, but the idle (1000 rpm) is a little rough.  It seems as
though there is a little miss at idle.  Under a load, it has almost no
power.  I was able to drive it home.  I can get it to rev to any speed,
but when i first step on the gas, it sputters before the revs increase. 
I checked the system fuel pressure and that was fine.  The car was too
warm to do the control pressure, but I don't think that would affect the
way my car is currently running.  I had a extra Jettronic box that I
switched in, but it didn't make any difference.  I may be able to borrow
a knock box from a working car tomorrow to see if that is the problem. 
I recently put in a 268 cam, but I have put about 500 miles in since the
install.  I checked the plug wires and the coil.  I took the valve cover
off and the cam seems fine.  Tomorrow, I'm going to check the connection
that I made for the knock sensor.  Anybody have a idea what I should
also check?
