Non Scirocco Related - advice on Beetle purchase

not sure about over the water but the tdi engine get rave reviews in the UK, 
the puill just as much as the golfs, so good infact they we even have a diesel 
GTI...

hope you get it nice cars although not the same as the now decessed aircooled 
version...
