I'm running a supertrap tunnable exhaust. I had thought about changing it
since it was on the car when I bought it, but its grown on me. It definatly
doens not sound like a typical VW, its a low grumble, but when you get on it
you know it. Never had a problem with cops with it, but that could be cuz TN
cops are not hard on exhaust laws. The only down fall to a supertrap is to
be emmisions test you must remove the disks and endcap for them to sample.

I am wanting to put a new exhaust system on my 16v Scirocco from the cat back. Now I know techtonics tuning makes some really good bolt on systems, but they are kind of out of the price that I want to spend. I mainly just want to put a louder deeper muffler on,thats it.
I am wondering what some of you would recommend. I want a deep deep rumble and not ""raspy"". Would one of those stainless bomb style tuner mufflers sound good or would it just "blap" from to much lack of back pressure. I have heard a 16v Scirocco with an open straight pipe and it "blapped" a lot! and was VERY "raspy". I want a pretty loud sound, but not something that will get me picked up by the cops. I just want it to sound deep.

Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE*
