Larry,
i cant wait till vw pulls some crap like that. several mailing lists =
worth of prople and a good portion of vwvortex could make so much =
negative publicity for them so quickly, it would be quite funny... If vw =
doesnt give a shit about supporting its older cars by sponsoring events =
and such, thats fine. i can live with that. the second they try to mess =
with our *free* efforts to have enthusiasm about our vws, thats when i =
go into instant revolt mode. chris wont be making any sort of profit, =
and is only paying for materials basically. vw would only have any sort =
of leg to stand on when profits are being made. as of right now there =
are vw/etka cds for sale on ebay (pirated copies even), and the vw logo =
is in those auctions, and vw has yet to go after them... i believe our =
little sticker operation will be safe :).
as a side note, chris could ask vw for permission to use the logo, =
but i think they would have a hard time grasping the idea that its use =
would be for a very small mailing list of scirocco owners.

Be careful using the VW logo.
Seems like I remember some legal hassles from VW about "unauthorized =
reproduction" of their logo in the past.
