Speaker recommendations?

Will, since you're willing to go with other options...6x9 Kenwood Epsilon about $125Alpine 5 1/2" about $80 (these were in my door panels)4x6 go with the best you can afford, with speakers $=quality so look in the $100+ range. If you have a Tweeters shop near you (www.tweeters.com to find out) they're the shiznit in audio. Dan
