OT - Ground Strap

This ones for all you closet cabby owners out there;
To get the wife's 92 Cabby roadworthy for Spring,
I took it to the car wash to clean the engine bay with GUNK. Once back  
home, I got to cleaning the grounds and found that the ground strap which 
mounts to the coil strap had either become disconnected or was never 
connected. Where does the other end connect to?
I've been looking at the back of the engine block, but can't "finger" out 
where it might go. Any help would be appreciated.

Scirocco content; working on parting the wrecked 16V in order to get it out 
of the yard which also makes the wife happy! Does anyone see a common 
thresad here?
